๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Digital sovereignty

Digital sovereignty

Where data is stored matters. But it is not the only question.

When sensitive business information is entrusted to external services, applicable jurisdiction, control over infrastructure, dependence on technology providers and the ability to retain autonomy over digital choices also come into play.

Teleutias. Teleutias is local-first by design: processing can remain within infrastructure controlled by the customer, while selected cloud services can be used when they provide a real benefit and are authorised. Cloud remains an option, not the mandatory core of the system.

Why this matters

Jurisdiction

Physical data location is only part of the picture: the laws and authorities governing the provider also matter.

Control

Retaining choice over infrastructure reduces unnecessary dependencies and preserves operational autonomy.

Optional cloud

Teleutias is not anti-cloud: it uses cloud services selectively when their benefit justifies their use.
